I provide high-quality, results-driven tutoring in math, chemistry, and physics for middle school through college. My style is clear, structured, and conceptual: we build confidence by understanding the “why,” not just memorizing steps.

  • Ph.D. (Chemistry)
  • 7+ years tutoring experience
  • 1:1 + small group
  • Remote (Zoom) or local (Pittsburgh)

Not sure where to start? The free consultation is the easiest first step: we’ll discuss goals, timing, and whether I’m a good fit.

What I tutor

  • Math: Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus/Trig, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations
  • Physics: Mechanics, Electricity & Magnetism, Intro Nonlinear Dynamics
  • Chemistry: General, Organic, Physical, Thermochemistry, Intro Quantum
  • Study skills: problem-solving strategy, notes, exam planning, foundations repair

Services

1:1 tutoring

For students who want focused, customized support (homework help, concept mastery, catching up, or getting ahead).

  • Personalized plan + targeted practice
  • Clear explanations and “why it works” intuition
  • Session notes and next-step homework plan

Small-group tutoring

Best for siblings or friends in the same course, or a coordinated study group with aligned goals.

  • Cheaper per student, higher total value
  • Accountability and collaborative problem solving
  • Optional “group homework hour” format

Structured prep tracks

A course-like approach for time-bounded goals (finals, standardized exams, or rebuilding fundamentals quickly).

  • Defined weekly milestones
  • Skill diagnostics and error-pattern tracking
  • Practice sets tailored to weaknesses

How it works

1) Free consultation

We discuss the course, goals, timeline, current challenges, and scheduling constraints.

2) Quick diagnostic

I identify missing prerequisites and common error patterns so sessions stay efficient and focused.

3) A plan that actually sticks

We turn goals into weekly targets, practice, and measurable progress (grades, test scores, confidence).
